Flyin' Brian Check getting some serious air!

In this photo taken by Ron Lutz II, Brian was flying a Blade III 6.6 meter power kite! A good friend and customer of mine, Brian Check is always looking for a thrill, especially when power kiting. Brian is an expert flier, and as such knows the risks involved in power kiting and especially the high risk of kite jumping. He has had the nickname of Flyin' Brian ever since the early days of Fly Pittsburgh kite club, when he used Flexifoil stackers for tremendous power, and found that he could leave the ground, catching air by harnessing the power of these kites.
