| The Mahoning County Experimental Farm (site of the event) is across the street (Route 46) in Canfield OH from the Canfield Fair Grounds. The Fair Grounds are where the county fair and several special events (like a huge car show) are held. Address given for the Experimental Farm is 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road.

| Directions to the Youngstown Kite Festival, coming from the Pittsburgh area:
From New Castle or via 60: Take 224 West from Ohio line to Canfield (quite a way you will pass the Southern Park Mall on your left and then several miles after that) to the intersection of 224 and 46 in Canfield. Left (South) on Route 46 (Columbiana Canfield Road). You will pass the Canfield Fairgrounds on your left, a Ohio State Patrol barracks and extension service building on your right & then see the signs and buildings of the Mahoning County Experimental Farm. We will have people/signs for direction from there. If you are coming in Via PA Turnpike to OH Turnpike: Take the I-76/PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE, West to Ohio. (36.4 miles to) Merge onto I-76 W (Portions toll). (0.8 miles to) Take the first exit in OH - 7 exit. (3.8 miles to) Merge onto OH- 7. (5.1 miles to) Turn LEFT onto US-224. (0.1 miles to) Turn LEFT onto US-62 W. (1.2 miles to) US-62 W becomes OH-46 S. You have arrived!!!! Look for signs for the Youngstown Kite Festival at the Mahoning County Experimental Farm.

| Directions to the Youngstown Kite Festival, coming from the west:
Follow Ohio Turnpike Interstate 80 and go west toward Youngstown Ohio. Continue on 180 when it splits from I 76 (don't go toward Pittsburgh). Go to Route 11 exit and go South. Go Approximately 8 miles, get off at Route 224 and be careful. The road you want is Fairgrounds road, and it is just across the road from the exit ramp. Follow Fairgrounds road to the end, to Route 62, turn LEFT A short distance you will come to the Experimental Farm, follow the signs to flying field.
